Oh shoot x.x

See...I fail hard at keeping up with things like blogs and stuff, but in my defense I've been a leetle bit busy!! :O

Hmm, lessee...since the last time I blogged, I had a shift in friendship with someone who used to be near and dear to me, but hey...stuff happens like that I guess. I loved still love them very much, but too much has gone on, there's too much that can't simply be swept under the rug and forgotten. I am easily able to forgive(maybe too easy), but it takes me a long time to forget, and if I hold a grudge...I hold it for a long time. I'm not saying that I am perfect...but I try not to repeat hurtful actions, especially if I made a promise to someone to not do it.

Well, that's all I'm going to say on THAT matter. :P

That's us!!
But lets see...oooh, my dealy beloved fiancee and I have added to our family! I'm pretty sure that when I made my first post to my blog that we had already made our adoption with our second daughter official, but I just want to gush a little bit more about it. She is amazingness and so sweet!! She RPs as a 14 year old scuse me...nearly fifteen year old(teehee), and she is quite mischevious. She and our first daughter have also decided to do the twin thing, which spells disaster for their father and I...but I wouldn't trade their troublemaking for the world. She and I have bonded quite spectacularly, and I am just..over the moon about it all.

Hmm...also...three of my nieces got married this month!! *wipes some tears away and giggles* Two of my nieces got married to eachother in a beautiful and small ceremony in the first week of June, and it was very lovely. Both of the girls looked fantastic, and I just finished their wedding pictures about 30 minutes ago(again, whoopsy on me). My other niece got married to her RL and SL boyfriend of one year TODAY(well technically yesterday)...again, in a small little ceremony with me as the designated picture-clicker! (my family is really putting me through the paces of photography, but it's okay...I need the practice because I'm considering opening a business...but that's a tale for another day)

Er...at the moment I think that's all that's really kept me busy...weddings, random zombie killing sprees with the fam...shakin my moneymaker at a burlesque club, DJing on the weekends and for parties when I get the chance...oh, and my computering over the summer is restricted to just a few hours at night, sincce I have to babysit my RL little brother for about half the day, which is tiring. I turn my computer on at night and I just stare at my screen, thinking that I should work on my pictures of whatever and whoever, and then I just...don't feel inspired to do it. Sadface.

Well, I should just go pass out in bed now, because it's 6 in the morning and the sun is up and the birds are chirping and...I can't keep my eyes open any more.

zzzzz...

Testing, Testing...

This is totally going to be a test-post. So without further ado...

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I hope you can sit back and relax, maybe pick up that glass of merlot that you know that you are eyeballing and enjoy yourself here in this cozy, shabby little corner.

So I guess the first question would be...why is my blog titled "Musings of a Dolly"?

Well, friend...that is simple: My avatar in Second Life is a wind-up dolly, and I have LOTS of things on my mind, always. So...the name kind of chose itself :P
Not the BEST shot ever, but it works.

<--- Lookie! That would be me!

I have worn my dolly key happily since October of 2010, and have had it on me permanently since December of 2010. It is something that I initially started as something new to do with my sister Pinky, but it has since developed into something more, something special to me. My key is my outward sign of my submissiveness. It is like a collar to me, only a little bit more specific. It is also...well...I love and have always had a fascination for all things steampunk, all things with a Victorian undertone. Being in Secondlife gives me that opportunity to try it out. To be a pretty thing, something to look at, and for my Owner to put high up on a shelf, so that he can cherish and look at me.

I've never really been good with ending anything, be it relationships, essays, or phone conversations. So I guess I'll end this post by promising...whoever reads this...that in my future posts, I will share more about me, about my family and friends, and about what I do in Secondlife. Until then...buh bye!! <3
